Ok, innanzitutto vorrei dirvi che questo non è un log normale, è anzi, molto probabilmente, una delle migliori battle che io abbia mai giocato, e probabilmente anche una delle più divertenti. L'ho ritrovata oggi dopo qualche giro tra i miei vecchi log, ed ho deciso di commentarla. Però ho voluto coinvolgere anche Andrea, pertanto la cosa particolare di questo log sarà il poter vedere due commenti differenti, che vengono dai due giocatori che hanno dato vita a quella partita, sicuramente quella più discussa fra quelle disputate tra me ed Andrea e probabilmente quella che entrambi ricordiamo meglio, delle nostre. Come inizio, direi che non c'è male. Zapdos resiste allo STAB di pinsir ed ad EQ, e subire una Rock Slide adesso significherebbe dare molti più danni a lui con Thunder, quindi, come prima cosa, decido di scoutare il suo electric resistor.

La sua scelta è Steelix, probabilmente pensava che io inviassi Zapdos ed aveva intenzione di diffondere un'altra volta Toxic. Ora, lui ha alcune possibilità: una è usare Earthquake su Blissey in modo da danneggiarmi con danni random. Una è usare Toxic, pensando che io usi Heal Bell. L'ultima, la più probabile, è che lui sfrutti questo turno per cambiare Pokémon. Però, tutti gli altri Pokémon che ho visto, dalla sua parte, hanno qualche problema con Zapdos, che oltretutto è immune ad Earthquake e può assorbire le Toxic con Rest (+ Sleep Talk). Pertanto... quale switch migliore?

Infatti, si rivela vincente. A quel punto, mi viene in mente una strategia per prendere il controllo delle redini del gioco: far innervosire gf. Mi riprometto perciò di continuare ad usare Thunder con Zapdos, benché io abbia a disposizione anche la Hidden Power Grass, in grado di fare danni abbastanza consistenti a Steelix, per poi scappare.

Il suo switch-in su Steelix è così ovvio che Thunder decide di fallire. In quel momento penso subito alla Toxic di poco prima, ma non posso permettermi che Zapdos resti paralizzato, e Suicune sarebbe una mossa troppo ovvia. Potrebbe usare Explosion anche adesso, ma in ogni caso decido di pararmi da Toxic ed Explosion, Earthquake mi sembra poco probabile.

Non dimentichiamo inoltre che Metagross dispone di 134 base atk ed una mossa da bp 100 Stabbata.
Potevo aver già killato metagross, limitando l'ingordigia di Swords Dance. Ciò che non realizzai al momento fu il fatto che due Swords Dance dopo un Reflect fanno meno danno di una Swords Dance senza Reflect, in quanto Reflect dimezza la potenza dei colpi avversari, non raddoppia la difesa (se così fosse stato, Earthquake sarebbe stato OHKO).

Uhm, Vileplume. L'unico motivo per mettere Vileplume sarebbe usare Hidden Power Fire su Metagross, quindi Zapdos non avrà grandi problemi ad assorbirlo. E magari, potrebbe minacciare una Hidden Power Ice che in realtà non possiede.
Credo che a questo punto l'unica cosa da fare sia almeno levare di mezzo Metagross... uff, ma questa non era la versione con Cacturne? Omg, non ricordavo. :°D

Erroraccio, avrei dovuto supporre Earthquake. Però adesso decido di fare una prediction corretta: attualmente, una Explosion gli garantisce un kill. E' importante non sacrificare Zapdos perché potrebbe sweepparlo dopo l'esplosione di Steelix -Vileplume permettendo-, ma è anche impensabile sacrificare Suicune, perno difensivo di grande utilità. Blissey deve Heal Bellare in favore di Suicune e Zapdos, e gli altri due Pokémon sono utili perché uno mi garantisce uno sweep finale e non è un Pokémon che ho intenzione di sacrificare. L'altro mi garantisce una buona sicurezza contro Nidoking, quindi è opportuno tenerlo... l'unica cosa che rimane, è lasciare Metagross, anche rischiando che lui usi Earthquake. Ma lui pensa che io abbia intenzione di switchare, perciò...

Bah, che battle orribile e tremendamente unilaterale. :°D Il mio team era completamente debole a Kazam ed aveva chiaramente problemi ad affrontare entrambi i suoi leggendari. Ho retto un bel po' di tempo, malgrado lo svantaggio, cosa di cui non è che sia entusiasta, perché uno stall senza Spikes e, soprattutto, senza avere idee sul come cavarsi fuori dallo stall stesso è, dal mio punto di vista attuale (non ricordo come la pensassi all'epoca xD) una perdita di tempo e basta. Una cosa divertente è che penso di aver giocato meglio di lui in questa partita, malgrado il risultato finale (penso che, se avessi avuto il suo team e lui il mio, avrei vinto in molto meno tempo ;(), ma gg comunque perché non ha neppure giocato male. E' stato anche abbastanza fortunato devo dire (o io sfigato >_<), ma dubito che quei due o tre ch/miss che ci sono/non ci sono stati avrebbero modificato in qualche modo l'esito della battle... vabbé fine commento, ciao a tutti e grazie per aver avuto la pazienza di leggere. xd
