My fourth warstory! This was a battle against Baris, and both of us were using gimmick teams. It's probably one of the funniest battles I've ever fought, and when on Shoddy's main chat appeared: "Baris: ahren warstory"
I decided to write this. Without further intro words, here is the battle!

Baris sent out Blissey (lvl 100 Blissey ?).

Here I thought: "What? Blissey lead?" I had already seen other Baris' battles but not from the beginning, and I didn't know his blissey moveset. Well, I decided to Spore him without dangers for Smeargle since I'm scarfed.

Baris switched in Charizard (lvl 100 Charizard ?).
Smeargle used Spore.
Charizard fell asleep!

Ahren: Smeargle 100%, locked in Spore.
Baris: Blissey 100%; Charizard 100%, sleeping.

Strange move - I don't know why he "sacrified" Zard, but it's good for me, one less poke to care about. Now that I've spored him I must change and I know that Baris will switch too. I decided to bring Empoleon in, because the Penguin's great resistences could help me...

No thunderbolt, but the trick was better for me than for him. Time to scout with U-Turn.

Tricky match! My SDPenguin was Banded... that was annoying, but not really hurtful. Now that he had the Lefties he was looking for he was surely Thunderbolting... I'd try to catch a boost.

Electivire's Motor Drive increased its speed!

I hoped Flamethrower was a 3HKO, since he couldn't 2HKO me with Shadow Ball...

It should be simple to kill his Snorlax with my flygon, but I decided not to EQ him away to use Dragon Claw, the safest choice in case of switches.

Ok, I could win that match. It was Arca, Flygon and Electivire against Bliss, Heatran and a sleeping BellyZard. But I feared his Bliss and his unknown moves and so I decided to switch Arca in to scout...

ne ho provato uno tempo fa con CB overheat-quake-Sedge-explosion, ma poi ho abbandonato l'idea quando mi sono reso conto che mi piaceva solo per esplodere obesamente xd
le altre mosse non le ho mai usate xd

davvero, non so cosa sia un gimmick team...

ottimo inglese, dovrebbe essere questo l'inglese parlato dagli studenti italiani, se fossero più o meno al livello di quelli europei...

Allora, prima di tutto grazie.
Un "gimmick team" è un team fatto con pokemon con strategie strane e moveset inconsueti (e spesso non competitivi), che magari non funzionano benissimo ma sono inaspettati e divertenti da giocare ed hanno effetti grandiosi se funzionano. Degli esempi sono i vari pokemon FEAR, il mio ScarfTrickSmeargle, lo SpecsBlissey di Baris con iper-raggio e così via.
